	<title>Good Carbs</title>
	<description>

It was really no wonder that many of the trendiest low carb diets failed for most people. The diet did not provide enough information to the dieter about the difference between good carbs and bad ones, let alone the value of good carbs and that fact that our body needs them. So, take it upon yourself to become better informed about what diet is really the best one for you to be on.

The ideal diet
Good carbs are an important part of any diet and the ideal diet will definitely not advise people to steer clear of them. Good carbs are our bodies' primary source of energy and are essential to the proper functioning of our digestive systems. In looking for a diet that you think will help you to meet your weight loss goals, concentrate on those that emphasize overall health. Stay away from the fad diets that promise a substantial weight loss in a few short days or weeks - they do not work! If you follow through with any one of the fad diets, you may very well lose the pounds that they promised, but you will have sacrificed your health and you will most certainly gain all of the weight back (and probably a few extra pounds as well).

We should be going on diets to take the extra pounds off and then keep them off, and that means a lifestyle change. You cannot go on eating the same way as you always have if you are overweight. Neither can you continue to not exercise. You must change the way that you eat and behave (in terms of exercise). Any other diet will not give you the lasting results that you need for your health, happiness, and well-being.

Find the diet that makes that distinction between the good carbs and the bad ones, read up about it, and prepare your kitchen with the foods that are ok for you to eat. Then get out there with your friends, family, or by yourself and get the exercise that your body is craving. Only through patience and perseverance will we accomplish our long term weight loss goals.
