On board with a low carbohydrate diet?
Some people, bless their hearts, honestly believe that a low carbohydrate diet is the way they are going to be healthier. To lose all that weight. To live longer. All of that good stuff. But what you have to consider is that a carbohydrate diet is not all fun and games. Yes it is good to count those carbs and yes it is good to feel better about yourself because you counted the carbs in your meals and all that jazz. But come on. Eliminating carbs from your body altogether could mean big time health problems. So don't do that.
Instead of focusing on eliminating all carbs, try focusing on your GOODcarbohydrate diet. See below.
The 100 percent, all carbohydrate diet, all the time
This is what I do personally. I could eat pasta for like every meal. No tomato sauce or toppings, just a big ass bowl of spaghetti. Okay just kidding. As part of my all carbohydrate diet I also like to have some Italian sausage on there, as well as some onions, peppers, and maybe a couple of mushrooms. Maybe a little grated parmesan on top of there as well. The bottom line is that I love carbs, and while I recognize that pasta is not the best thing for you if you are trying to lose weight, I have shifted my carbohydrate diet in other ways to help that cause. For example, I cut out high-carb and high-fat desserts, and never eat any white bread.
See, it's all about moderation. Some carbs are good for you and others just taste so damn good that you can never give them up. It is just a matter of finding a balance that works for you with your carbohydrate diet and exercise.
