	<title>Low Carb Snacks</title>
	<description>
Massive amounts of low carb snacks
If you're on a low carb diet, you aren't supposed to be getting hungry. But let's face it, you're going to get hungry every once in awhile no matter what kind of diet you're on. And it's those times that can make or break your diet. But before you go in search of low carb snacks, try drinking some water or even hot water. Many times when you think you're hungry, the reality of it is that you're just slightly dehydrated and a big glass of water or two will do the trick. If you feel hungry after that, you can have a light snack. (That sounds like something your mother might say, right? Well, mom wasn't always wrong!)

Before you were on a low carb diet, snacking probably meant chips or candy. And that's probably part of the reason you got to the point you're at now. But snacking on a low carb diet is a lot different. Finding low carb snacks is almost as hard as figuring out what you can have in general on a low carb diet. If it were any other kind of diet, you might snack on fruit, cherry tomatoes, carrot sticks or celery sticks, but most of those aren't allowed on a low carb diet.

If you are serious about low carb snacks then you can't even have yogurt! You probably think it would help if there was an aisle at the grocery store that only had low carb snacks. But there's not. The closest thing you might find is a small section of an aisle with diet foods. Or you might find low carb versions of your favorite snacks. (But read the label first--these things might still have too many carbs for whatever stage of your low carb diet you're at.)

Know your low carb snacks
Looking for low carb snacks you can have on your low carb diet? Maybe we can help. After all, what good would this page be if we did not direct you to some of the best around. The best thing to do is to refer to the book you have (you did read the book, right?) or go online to find out what other low carb dieters snack on. We even have a list of low carb snacks you can use to get started:

 Grilled chicken strips
 Deli-sliced turkey
 String cheese
 A low carb shake (not the meal replacement variety)
 A low carb bar (again, not the meal replacement variety)
 Sugar-free Jello
 Deviled eggs
 Beef jerky
 Pork rinds

Hopefully this list will get you started. But the more you learn about low carb dieting (and your particular low carb diet) the more your creativity will kick in and you'll be able to create your own low carb versions of the foods you like the most.
